The Tiled House is a Registered Care Home with nursing
that specialises in caring for up to 24 people suffering
with dementia and 5 people with learning disabilities
and complex needs.
Based on our core value of dignity through respect, we
understand how important it is to remember that a person with
dementia is still a unique individual. We therefore endeavour to
ensure that we do everything we can to help the service users
retain their sense of identity and feelings of self-worth; to be
treated with respect and valued for who they are.
The Tiled House provides single and shared accommodation
some with en suites. Lounge and dining rooms are situated
on the ground floor.
In a linked building called 'The Cottage', The Tiled House
is also registered to provide care for up to five persons with
learning disabilities who may also have challenging behaviours.
Our commitment to service users to live their own life based
on informed choices is underpinned by our philosophy of
dignity through respect for the individual.
We focus on areas that are important and enable service users
to feel valued and supported to achieve individual levels of
independence and personal achievement.
We endeavour to ensure that all service users feel valued,
experience a good quality of life with increased self-esteem,
social inclusion and independence.
