We support service users to be actively involved with their communities and where appropriate provide opportunities for service users to participate in the day to day running of their home. If required, advocated views are sought on service user's behalf.

Specialist inputs for Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language, are provided by the local health teams or through internal resources for adults.

  • Person centred planning includes training and development programmes to enable service users to increase their levels of independence and skills. Care plans and risk assessments are reviewed at frequent intervals and reflect changing needs.
  • A named-worker system is in operation in all homes.

Individual services on request can provide copies of their 'Statement of Purpose', their 'Service User Guide' and the organisations complaints procedure. As required, services are registered with the appropriate regulatory authority.
