29 Fenwick Road is an end of terrace house situated in a quiet residential area, close to shops and bus routes. On-street parking is available for visitors. It has good access to parks and leisure facilities in the area. The shopping and leisure facilities at Surrey Quays are a short drive from the house.
The property is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to provide accommodation and support to three people with learning disabilities aged 18 years and upwards. The accommodation consists of individual bedrooms, kitchen/diner, lounge, communal toilets and bathrooms. All bedrooms and communal areas are furnished and decorated to reflect a homely style and atmosphere, and there is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property.
Through our robust quality assurance framework we encourage service users, their families and other interested parties to make their views known as a means of improving our services and the development of new policies. Our services are based on current good practice and reflect relevant specialist and clinical guidance.
The single most important goal of the service that we aim to provide, is the maintenance or creation of valued social roles for the service user and that participation by the service user in all aspects of their daily life is valued. We support service users to enrol in local colleges of Education and to pursue voluntary work or paid employment if that is their choice.
