As with all our homes, Bonhomie House offers, we believe, care with dignity based on our many years experience, in a home away from home atmosphere
Bonhomie House is located near the village of Bursledon and the River Hamble, and with easy access via junction 8 of the M27.
Bonhomie House is a Registered Care Home with nursing that specialises in caring for those suffering from sensory impairment, physical disability, brain injury and people with mental health and complex needs.
Bonhomie House is set within a three acre site with various forms of accommodation ranging from a principal building to various close care satellite units such as:
  • single independent units with kitchenette and bathroom facilities.
  • group living units consisting of single bedrooms with 'own front door' and with shared kitchenette, lounge and bathroom facilities. These units have either two or five bedrooms.
The resident group is diverse both in terms of age range as well as in the spectrum of care and support required. It is our objective to enable service users to determine their own lifestyles and be supported to achieve personal goals and ambitions.
Specialist staff are employed to enhance and compliment the care given by offering occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Where appropriate, the service will contract in psychiatric and psychological input.
Bonhomie House also has the provision of a hydrotherapy pool on site. There is an activities centre widely used by service users. Regular trips are arranged in its own wheelchair adapted minibus.
